About us
This website, licendeals.com (the “Site”), is operated by Licendeals LTD (“Licendeals”, “Licendeals.com”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16822772, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. You can contact us at support@licendeals.com, on WhatsApp at +44 7482 722254, or through the live chat on this Site.
These terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Site and to every order you place with us. Please read them before you order. By using the Site or placing an order, you accept them. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the Site.
Our Order, Delivery and Refund policy and our Privacy Policy also apply. If you are a consumer, you also have rights under the law of the country where you live, and nothing in these terms affects them.
We may update these terms, for example to reflect changes in the law or in how we work. The version that applies to your order is the one published on this page when you placed it. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
Use of this Site
You must be 18 years of age or older to buy from us. If you are under the age of 18 but at least 13 years of age, you may use this Site only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these terms. Children under the age of 13 may not use this Site other than for browsing, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about children under 13. If you are a parent or legal guardian agreeing to these terms for the benefit of a child between the ages of 13 and 18, you are responsible for his or her use of this Site, including all charges he or she may incur.
All billing and registration information you provide must be truthful and accurate. Providing untruthful or inaccurate information is a breach of these terms.
All materials, including images, text, illustrations, designs, icons, photographs, programs, downloads, video clips and other materials that are part of this Site (the “Contents”) are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use as a shopping resource. You may download or copy the Contents for your personal use only. No right, title or interest in the Contents is transferred to you as a result of downloading or copying them. You may not reproduce (except as noted above), publish, transmit, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, sell or exploit in any way, in whole or in part, any of the Contents, the Site or any related software. This does not limit your right to use the products you buy from us under the manufacturer’s licence terms.
Third-party sites. References on this Site to any names, marks, products or services of third parties, and links to third-party sites or information, are provided solely as a convenience to you and do not imply our endorsement or recommendation of the third party, its information, products or services. We are not responsible for the practices, policies or content of third-party sites. If you follow a link to a third-party site, you do so at your own risk.
Videos. Some of our guides show videos through the YouTube player, which uses YouTube API Services. If you play them, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens when you press play.
Site security
You must not violate or attempt to violate the security of the Site, including, without limitation, by: (a) accessing data not intended for you or logging onto a server or an account you are not authorised to access; (b) attempting to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network, or to breach security or authentication measures, without proper authorisation; (c) attempting to interfere with service to any user, host or network, including by submitting a virus to the Site, overloading, “flooding”, “spamming”, “mailbombing” or “crashing”; (d) sending unsolicited email, including promotions or advertising of products or services; or (e) forging any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any email or posting. Violations of system or network security may result in civil or criminal liability. We will investigate such violations and may involve, and cooperate with, law enforcement authorities.
You agree not to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of this Site, and not to use any engine, software, tool, agent or other device or mechanism (including robots, spiders or intelligent agents) to navigate or search this Site, other than the search function available on this Site and generally available web browsers.
Orders, payment and delivery
When you place an order and your payment is confirmed, we send you an email confirming your order. The contract between you and us starts at that moment. Payment is taken when you place your order. We accept payment by card and by cryptocurrency through our payment providers; the methods available to you are shown at checkout.
Your license is delivered through a secure link sent to your email address, and you can also find it in your account. It stays safely stored until you reveal it by clicking Get my license. If you buy several units of a product, you can reveal them a few at a time: each reveal is a separate delivery of the licenses you reveal at that moment, and the button shows how many you are revealing (for example, Get 3 licenses; in these terms, “Get my license” also refers to that button). Units that share the same license key are revealed together. Only reveal a license when you are ready to activate it: once revealed, it can no longer be refunded, except where the law of your country requires it. Licenses you haven’t revealed are not affected. Delivery, activation periods, our warranty, refunds and your right to cancel are explained in our Order, Delivery and Refund policy.
We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if a product is not available, if there is an obvious error in the price or description, if we cannot verify your payment or we suspect fraud or misuse, or if we cannot lawfully complete it (see “Sanctions and export controls”). We may also ask you for additional information or verification before accepting an order. We will tell you if we cancel all or part of your order. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.
We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or if we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.
Our warranty
In addition to your statutory rights, we give a warranty on the licenses we sell, on these conditions:
- from the moment you reveal a license by clicking Get my license, you have 24 hours to activate it or, if it doesn’t work, to tell us (if you reveal licenses at different times, each one has its own 24 hours from the moment you reveal it);
- if you tell us within those 24 hours that a license doesn’t work, we replace it right away;
- a license activated within those 24 hours is covered by our lifetime warranty, and accounts and subscriptions are covered for the full length of the plan; and
- if, within those 24 hours, you neither activate a license nor tell us that it doesn’t work, the warranty does not apply and we do not replace or refund that license, except where the law of your country requires us to.
MAK Volume Licenses have 30 days instead of 24 hours. From the moment you reveal the key, you have 30 days to use all its activations or, if it doesn’t work, to tell us. The license page shows when those 30 days end. If the key doesn’t work, tell us within those 30 days and we will replace it right away. Each activation you use within those 30 days is covered by our lifetime warranty, on the computer where you activated it. If the 30 days pass and you haven’t told us that the key doesn’t work, the activations you haven’t used are no longer covered by our warranty, and we do not replace or refund them, except where the law of your country requires us to. For MAK Volume Licenses, these conditions apply instead of the 24-hour conditions. The rest of our warranty applies in the same way to each activation you use within those 30 days.
What “lifetime” means. Our lifetime warranty lasts for as long as you use the license on the device where you activated it. For BIND Licenses, which are linked to your Microsoft account, it lasts for as long as you keep that Microsoft account.
If a license stops working later. If a license you activated within those 24 hours stops working later, for example because it has been deactivated or blocked, tell us whenever it happens and we will replace it. You don’t need to tell us within 24 hours in this case.
What our warranty doesn’t cover. Each activation of a RETAIL License, including 5PC products and RETAIL Licenses that can also be activated with a Confirmation ID, can be used only once: one device for each unit you buy, or up to 5 devices with a 5PC product. If a RETAIL License can’t be activated again because you uninstalled or reinstalled the software or the operating system (including a reset or a format), or changed or replaced hardware such as the hard drive, the processor or the motherboard, for any reason, including a failure or a repair, our warranty doesn’t cover it and we don’t replace or refund it, except where the law of your country requires us to. OEM Licenses stay with the first computer you activate them on, so our warranty doesn’t cover moving them to another computer. These limits don’t apply to BIND Licenses, which you can reinstall or move to a new device, or to a license that stops working for any other reason, for example because it has been blocked.
CID Licenses and MAK Volume Licenses have the same limit as RETAIL Licenses. A CID License can be used only once, to activate Office on one PC: after any of the changes described above, that activation can’t be used again. Each activation of a MAK Volume License can be used only once: after any of those changes, activating again uses another of the activations you bought. In both cases, our warranty doesn’t cover that activation and we don’t replace or refund it, except where the law of your country requires us to.
The details are in our Order, Delivery and Refund policy. This warranty does not limit your statutory rights: if a license was faulty when we supplied it, you keep the remedies the law of your country gives you (see “Your statutory rights and our responsibility”).
Remote installation service
If you buy our remote installation service, these conditions also apply.
What we do. One of our technicians installs the software you bought from us on one computer and activates it with your license, in a remote session with you, and checks that it opens correctly. We download the software only from its official source. We carry out the service with reasonable care and skill. It doesn’t include installing an operating system from scratch, formatting a drive, repairing hardware, removing viruses, recovering data, or setting up other software or devices.
Booking. You book your session with us after your order, by chat, WhatsApp or email. Sessions are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
What you need. A computer that meets the system requirements shown on the product page, a stable internet connection and a user account with administrator rights. You must own the computer or have its owner’s permission for us to access it, and you must stay at your computer during the session. Please back up your important files before the session.
Your license. Please don’t reveal your license before your session. You will reveal it yourself during the session, so that we can activate it right away. If you reveal it earlier, the 24 hours described in “Our warranty” still apply.
Remote access. We connect only after you accept the connection, and only for the session. You can see everything we do and end the session at any time. We don’t open, copy or keep your files, and we don’t keep any access to your computer after the session. We will never ask for your passwords or payment card details: when a password is needed, you type it in yourself. We will never contact you unless you ask us to, whether to offer this service or to ask for access to your computer.
Cancellation and refunds. You can cancel the service for a full refund at any time before your session starts. When you book it, you ask us to carry it out at the agreed time, even if that is within the legal cancellation period, and you confirm that you understand that once the service has been completed you can no longer cancel it; if you cancel during the session, you pay only for the part already done. If we can’t complete the installation, we refund the service in full. If the license it was for is cancelled or refunded before the session, or is refunded later because it doesn’t work and we can’t replace it, we also refund the service.
If something goes wrong. If something we do during the session means that your license can’t be activated, we will replace it at no cost; the limits in “What our warranty doesn’t cover” don’t apply in that case. Otherwise, our responsibility is as set out in “Your statutory rights and our responsibility”.
Business computers. If you book the service for a computer used by a business, you confirm that you are authorised to do so. If our technician sees personal information that the business is responsible for, we use it only to carry out the session, keep it confidential and don’t keep it after the session.
Who provides it. We provide this service ourselves. It is not provided, sponsored or endorsed by Microsoft, Adobe, Autodesk or any other software maker. How we handle your personal information during the session is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Prices and product information
Our prices, orders and invoices are in US dollars (USD, shown as US$). The price of your order is the US$ total shown at checkout when you place it. Amounts in other currencies shown on the Site are approximate and for information only; you are not charged at that rate. If you pay in another currency or in cryptocurrency, the payment provider converts the US$ total at its own exchange rate, which may include a conversion charge, and normally shows you the amount before you pay. If your card or account is in another currency, your bank or card provider may also convert the payment at its own rate and charge you fees. We do not control these rates or fees. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, in the currency in which you were charged or, for cryptocurrency payments, in the same cryptocurrency for the US$ amount you paid, as explained in our Order, Delivery and Refund policy.
We do our best to show accurate prices and product information, but errors can occur. If we find an obvious error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will contact you, and you can choose to continue with the corrected order or cancel it for a full refund. We do not price match with any other online or offline retailer.
We try to describe every product accurately. Some product information comes from the manufacturer, and manufacturers may change their products or their descriptions. If a product is not as described, please see our Order, Delivery and Refund policy. Customer reviews reflect the experience of the individual reviewer.
Quantity limits and resellers
We may limit the quantity of items purchased per person, per household or per order. These limits may apply to orders placed by the same account, with the same payment card or with the same billing address. We will tell you if such limits apply to your order. We may also refuse sales to dealers or resellers. “Reselling” means buying, or intending to buy, any product from us in order to sell that same product to a third party.
Choice Rewards
If you have an account, you are automatically a member of Choice Rewards, our free loyalty program. The program is governed by our Choice Rewards Terms, which form part of these terms.
Manufacturer terms and country of use
When you activate a product, you accept the manufacturer’s own licence terms (for example those of Microsoft, Adobe or Autodesk), and you must follow them. Some manufacturers limit where their products can be activated or used.
In particular, an Adobe plan belongs to the country of the Adobe account on which you redeem the code. Adobe requires that country to be the country where you mainly use the software, although you can keep using it while you travel. If Adobe asks for a payment method, it must be from the same country as your Adobe account. Do not use a VPN to activate an Adobe code.
We show on each product page the countries and regions where we know the product can’t be activated. If you are not sure that a product will work in your country, please contact us before you buy.
Sanctions and export controls
We are a UK company and must comply with UK sanctions law. The software we sell is made by companies based in the United States and may also be subject to US export controls and sanctions, as well as to the laws of the country where you receive and use it. Some manufacturers do not allow their products to be activated or used in certain countries or regions; where we know of such limits, we show them on the product page.
By placing an order, you confirm that:
- you are not a person or organisation named on a UK, US, EU or UN sanctions list, and you are not owned or controlled by, or buying on behalf of, such a person or organisation;
- you will not use, resell or transfer the product in breach of the sanctions or export control laws that apply to it; and
- you have checked that you can lawfully buy, receive and use the product where you are.
We may ask you for more information before completing an order, and we may cancel and refund any order that we cannot lawfully complete. If the law requires us to freeze or report a payment instead of refunding it, we will do so.
Your statutory rights and our responsibility
If you are a consumer, the law requires the products we supply to be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, and requires us to have the right to supply them. Nothing in these terms limits those rights or the remedies the law gives you, such as a replacement, a price reduction or a refund. Our warranty and our refund policy are in addition to them.
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable. If you are a consumer, we supply our products for your private use, so we are not responsible for any loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer.
If you are buying for a business, then to the extent permitted by law: we give no warranties other than those set out in “Our warranty” and in our Order, Delivery and Refund policy, and we exclude all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill; and our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order.
The software itself is supplied by its manufacturer under the manufacturer’s own licence terms. Some US states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
Copyrights and trademarks
Unless otherwise noted, all Contents are copyrights, trademarks, trade dress or other intellectual property owned, controlled or licensed by Licendeals, one of its affiliates or third parties who have licensed their materials to us, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The compilation (meaning the collection, arrangement and assembly) of all Contents on this Site is our exclusive property and is also protected by those laws.
We, our suppliers and our licensors reserve all intellectual property rights in all text, programs, products, processes, technology, content and other materials on this Site. Access to this Site does not grant anyone any license under our or any third party’s intellectual property rights.

Microsoft, Windows, Office, Adobe, Creative Cloud, Acrobat, Autodesk, AutoCAD, Revit and all other product names and marks shown on this Site are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify their products. No trademark or service mark license is granted in connection with the materials on this Site.
Reviews, feedback and submissions
For all reviews, comments, feedback, suggestions, ideas and other submissions you send us on or through this Site, by email, by chat or otherwise (the “Comments”), you grant us a royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable and transferable licence to use, copy, adapt, translate, publish and display them in connection with our business. We have no obligation to keep Comments confidential, to pay you for them or to respond to them. We may show the name you submit with your Comments.
Your Comments must not break these terms or the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy or other personal or proprietary rights, and must not contain unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory or obscene material, software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings or any form of spam. You must not use a false email address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of your Comments. You are responsible for the content of your Comments. We may remove Comments that break these terms.
Live chat
These rules apply when you use our live chat or message us on WhatsApp (the “Chat”). The information you provide is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. When you use the Chat, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, and you agree that:

- you will not take any action that may undermine, disrupt or manipulate the Chat, or interfere with the servers or networks connected to it;
- you will not send any unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, vulgar, obscene, racist or otherwise objectionable material;
- you will not impersonate any person or entity, or make any false statement about your employment, agency or affiliation; and
- you will not stalk, threaten or harass our customer service representatives.
Your Chat conversations are private between you and us. Information our representatives give you may be protected by copyright, and you may use it only for your own purposes. We use what you send us in the Chat to help you and to improve our service. We do our best to give you accurate information in the Chat; if you are buying for a business, information given in the Chat is not a warranty unless we confirm it in writing.
Guest checkout
You can buy without creating an account. We still need your name, email address and billing details to process and deliver your order, and we keep them with your order as explained in our Privacy Policy.
Indemnification
If you are buying for a business, you agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of this Site. If you are a consumer, you are responsible only for losses we suffer as a foreseeable result of your breaking these terms.
Termination
These terms apply until they are ended by you or by us. You may end them at any time by no longer using this Site. We may end them, and deny you access to this Site, if you seriously or repeatedly break them. Ending these terms does not affect orders already completed or rights either of us already has. When these terms end, you must stop using and delete any Contents you have copied from this Site; this does not include the products you have bought. The following sections continue to apply after these terms end: “Use of this Site”, “Site security”, “Our warranty”, “Prices and product information”, “Quantity limits and resellers”, “Manufacturer terms and country of use”, “Sanctions and export controls”, “Your statutory rights and our responsibility”, “Copyrights and trademarks”, “Reviews, feedback and submissions”, “Indemnification”, “Termination”, “Privacy”, “Governing law and courts” and “General”.

We use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

This address is only for intellectual property complaints; for anything else, please contact support@licendeals.com.
Governing law and courts
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or with an order, are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer:

- you can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or in the courts of the country where you live (if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts); and
- we will only bring a claim against you in the courts of the country where you live.
If you are buying for a business, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

General
These terms, together with our Order, Delivery and Refund policy, our Privacy Policy, our Choice Rewards Terms (if you have an account) and the information on the product page when you placed your order, form the agreement between you and us. Headings are for reference only and do not limit the scope of any section. If a court or authority decides that any part of these terms is unlawful or unenforceable, the rest of these terms will continue to apply. If we do not enforce a right against you straight away, we can still enforce it later.
