Review Rules

Who can review

Anyone who has used a product can review it. Reviews from customers who bought the product from Licendeals, after the license has been revealed, are marked “Verified purchase” and show when it was bought. You can leave one using the link in your order email or from My Account. One review per product, even if you buy it more than once.

If you didn’t buy the product from Licendeals, you can still review it if you have used it yourself. Your review won’t show the “Verified purchase” label, doesn’t count towards the product rating and doesn’t earn points. Review only the software itself, and don’t describe an order, delivery or warranty with Licendeals that you didn’t have. One review per product for each email address.

Our staff never write reviews, and nobody paid by or working for Licendeals, a supplier or a competitor may review our products.

Points for reviews

Customers with an account receive 200 Choice Rewards points for each published Verified purchase review, whatever their rating, positive or negative. Reviews that received points are labelled. Points never depend on what you say. See the Choice Rewards Terms.

What we publish

We check every review and reply before it appears, and we publish every one that follows these rules, whether positive or negative, and we don’t change what reviewers say, except to remove personal details or license keys. We may remove or decline a review only if it:

• is not about the product or the reviewer’s own experience with it;
• contains personal data, license keys or links;
• is abusive, discriminatory or unlawful;
• is spam or written by someone with a conflict of interest;
• is the same review or reply sent more than once.

Images

You can add up to 4 images (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB each). We remove location and camera data, and we check every image before it appears. We accept your own photos or screenshots of the software working, and activation screens with the key covered. We don’t publish images that show license keys, installation or confirmation IDs, QR codes, order numbers, email addresses or names, account screens, payment details, other people’s faces, images taken from others, stock or AI-generated images, or offensive content. Rejecting an image never affects whether your review is published or the points you receive.

Replies and questions

Anyone can reply to a review, for example to ask a question or add a comment. Replies have no rating and don’t count towards the product rating. Replies from our team are marked “Licendeals team”. Don’t include license keys, order numbers or personal details in a reply. For help with an order, please contact support instead.

Product rating

The rating shown on each product page is the average of published reviews. Reviews from people who didn’t buy the product from Licendeals are shown, but we don’t check them and they don’t count towards the rating.

To report a review you think is fake or breaks these rules, email support@licendeals.com with “Review” in the subject.
